Are you looking for an exciting team building activity that will get your team working together and learning new skills? Look no further! Join Chef Jenn for a cooking competition that starts with learning how to make creamy mozzarella cheese from scratch.
First, get hands-on experience with a fun and interactive demonstration on how to create the perfect Italian cheese. Then, learn how to incorporate your homemade cheese into classic dishes like Caprese salad before getting competitive. Everyone will put their newly learned skills to the test with a friendly competition as they divide into smaller teams and create their own handmade paninis. Chef Jenn will be the judge and give the win to the team with the most unique, eye-catching, delicious panini in the room. Don your aprons and get ready for a day of delicious food and fun!
MENU
All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.
Make Fresh Mozzarella
With whole milk and citric acid
Classic Caprese Salad
With mozzarella, tomatoes and basil
Handmade Panini Competition
Ingredients may include eggplant, mushrooms, roasted peppers, roasted garlic spread, basil pesto spread, broccoli rabe, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach and Calabrian chili peppers

I enjoyed Chef Jenn's teaching style and the class, but I would have liked more variety in the ingredients offered. We were taught to make 3 or 4 different styles of sushi and everything was made out of the same two ingredients - avocado and smoked salmon. I don't like smoked salmon and that was the only fish offered, so I didn't eat anything I made. To me, sushi is primarily raw fish, and I was excited about enjoying the food.
