Improve teamwork among your crew with this interactive team building activity. Chef Tiffany will guide them through a delicious lesson in chocolate-making to improve their teamwork and communication skills. Then, everyone will get to get creative and make their own unique chocolate creations.

They’ll discover the best-kept secrets behind the most delectable chocolate sweets through learning consistency, temperature and the best flavor profiles of chocolate. After their lesson, they’ll split into teams and work together to create a unique “Box of Chocolates” that best represents them as a team. The winning group will be crowned Chocolate Champion!

MENU

All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.

Chocolate Options

With milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate

Chef Tiffany was amazing. Incredibly friendly and definitely a good instructor. The venue however was not great, it was at a brewery and the brewery was dirty and very loud. That was the only downside, otherwise I would absolutely recommend chef Tiffany

We enjoyed the truffle making class, but it was over within 40 minutes when the class was listed as a two hour event. I would just be more clear that it’s a fun 45 minute event with your date.

Class was for making chocolate truffles on Valentine's Day at deep ellum brewery. Received a recipe for the truffles and got to scoop and decorate our own pack of Chocolates. The truffles turned out super yummy, however the class could have been more organized. There were 25 people set up at a table that looked to only seat like 10 or 15. So all of the ingredients for decorating and scooping chocolate were kind of all over the place so we kind of all had to topple over each other to even get the ingredients we needed to make our truffles. The chef was very knowledgeable and friendly, but it should have definitely been communicated to only make a certain amount per person cuz some people got greedy and had like 6-8 while my partner and I left with 3 cuz it was ao hard to push our way into the tables with that many people crowding around the tables, so it wasn't really her fault, but wasn't worth the money for the amount we left with. But the ones we did leave with turned out good

Overall we had a blast! We were celebrating my husband's birthday. We learned a few new things (that we plan on using on future meals) and got a chance to meet some amazing people. The chef was late and was missing some pots but what she lacked in preparation, she made up for in personality! She was awesome and very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and enlightened us on a few things. The food we prepared was so flavorful and delicious. We really enjoyed the experience.

Chef Tiffany was great! She walked us through all the steps to make pasta and the bolognese sauce as well. It was a fun environment!

This was a sad experience. I was excited to learn how to make tortillas from scratch and that didn’t happen. All tables had MISSION tortillas you can grab from a grocery story. Location was changed last minute. My date and I was starving as there wasn’t enough food. Sad times….

Tiffany was great and very personable! As far a the class goes I'm a little disappointed. What I thought the class was going to teach us how to cook the chicken and waffles starting from the beginning. How much flour, how much seasoning and baking power here and there. But the food was prep ahead of time and all we did was mix everything together. It was like cooking from a box or a frozen meal you heat up. I would've like to cook everything from scratch. It was all in all a decent class and met a few new people. But I don't think I would do it again and if I did my expectations would be lower.

With 16 years of professional experience in the food industry, Chef Tiffany has developed a noteworthy affinity for the culinary arts. With degrees in culinary arts and hospitality, she has served as a chef in numerous restaurant kitchens and cafès. Deeply passionate about all things food, she now teaches food safety at the Culinary Institute of Child Nutrition and culinary arts to high school students.
