Team Building Activity: Culinary Journey Through East Asia
This East Asian-themed cooking class is the perfect team building activity for groups that love dynamic flavors. You’ll learn about traditional ethnic cuisine and Chef Parsati's expert culinary tips as you create an incredible meal from fresh and vibrant ingredients to enjoy together.
Chef Parsati will teach you how to expertly roll tofu onigiri rice balls to dip in a spicy wasabi sauce. You’ll also fry up yakisoba noodles with colorful veggies and perfectly cooked shrimp along with an authentic sweet and sour pineapple chicken dish. Your group will end your adventure through East Asia with unique matcha truffles, highlighted with rich white chocolate for dessert.
This unique experience will provide the team with some out-of-office relaxation, new skills, bonding time and lots of delicious food!

Chef Parsati is sweet and kind welcoming us to her home. Her home is very clean and organized. Being an amateur in the kitchen, she was able to walk me through the steps for cooking without feeling too pressured. The food (Vegetarian Japanese) itself was amazing and less greasy than what we’ve had in restaurants. It was an awesome experience for our anniversary. Thank you Chef for the great food and hospitality.

“Paru” gave my friend and I a fascinating short course on the cuisine of Northern India and then we sat down to a delicious meal we had helped prepare with her guidance. We learned so many things and are well on our way to a new culinary journey in our own kitchens! Every one of the 4 dishes is a “keeper!”

Chef Parsati has a true passion for cooking that includes researching new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen, and hosting events for clients with a focus on teaching techniques and keeping the class interactive. Previously, Chef Parsati has worked for Williams Sonoma in a culinary capacity, and was as an instructor for an international education program teaching kids match, science and geography through cooking.
