Team Building Activity: The Great Team Pasta-Off With Chef Jaylen

Master pasta-making from scratch, then compete for culinary glory in this fun team building activity!


Begin the class by mixing flour, egg and olive oil to make a simple pasta dough. Plus, master the technique of kneading the dough and shaping it into your choice of pasta. As the pasta boils, simmer crushed tomatoes with onions, garlic, basil and oregano to make a rich marinara sauce. And make a creamy Alfredo sauce with sprinkles of Parmesan cheese. Then, break into teams and compete to make the tastiest pasta dish of the day. Work together to use various mix-in ingredients, like sausage, mushrooms and spinach, to elevate the dish. Dishes will be judged based on creativity and tastiness before indulging in your homemade feast.


MENU

All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.


Pasta Dough

With flour, egg, olive oil, salt and water


Marinara Sauce

Alfredo Sauce

With heavy cream, garlic, butter and Parmesan cheese
