Warm, aromatic Chinese dumpling soup clears the mind and calms the soul and you’ll create it together in this engaging team-building experience. Gather your colleagues or friends and join Chef Li as you learn to prepare xiao long bao, featuring a flavorful herb-infused broth with pillowy dough dumplings. Work as a team to mix and knead the dough, roll it out and craft perfectly pleated dumplings filled with savory pork. Then, create a fragrant broth to complete the soup. The meal continues with a refreshing tofu skin salad topped with light green onion oil and Chinkiang vinegar dressing, Sichuan shredded pork and a sweet silver-ear mushroom and goji berry dessert soup. Build leadership, cooperation and patience while bonding over this hands-on culinary challenge.

We enjoyed our class very much! Chef Li gave us excellent instructions, the food was portioned out appropriately for each couple, and we had lots of room at our cooking station. We sat at a communal table in her lovely home, which made it cozy and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. And, we even got a special treat since it was Valentines Day.

Meet your chef
Chef Li is an experienced chef who has cooked and studied all around the world. She was formerly based in Singapore, where she offered private cooking classes as well as corporate cooking events. Now Chef Li offers cooking classes in the US, although her style is influenced by her international background. Although Chef Li specializes in traditional Chinese and Southeast Asian cuisine, she welcomes students of all culinary backgrounds and loves the chance to open their minds to new cooking styles.
