Chef Frederick was very kind, open, and entertaining. The chocolate that he made was delicious. The only disappointing part of the class was that the participants didn't get to make any of the chocolate ourselves. Most of the time we were just watching Chef Frederick making the chocolate. As a participant, I wanted to participate and actually create the chocolate myself!

I recently attended Chef Frederick's (or as he warmly goes by, Chef Freddy) chocolate-making class, and I have to say, his personality and expertise are absolutely top-notch. Chef Freddy is a true delight, full of charisma and a wealth of knowledge about chocolate and the art of crafting it. For this, he earns a well-deserved 10/10. However, when it comes to the overall experience of the class, I'd give it an 8/10. While the content was fascinating and Chef Freddy clearly knows his stuff, I found myself wishing it was a bit more hands-on. I came in expecting to roll up my sleeves, don an apron, and get involved with the ingredients and kitchen gadgets. Unfortunately, the majority of the class was more of a demonstration where Chef Freddy did most of the work, primarily using his beloved Vitamix. The most hands-on activity we got to do was rolling some fudge chocolate balls that Chef had pre-prepped. That said, the chocolate we made was absolutely delicious, and I appreciated that Chef Freddy provided us with the recipes to try at home. Despite my desire for a more interactive experience, I still had a great time and would likely sign up for another class with him in the future, especially if it promises more hands-on opportunities. In summary, if you're looking for a fun, informative class with an exceptional chef, Chef Freddy's class is a great choice—just be prepared for a bit more watching and learning rather than getting your hands dirty.
