Team Building Activity: Satisfying Sushi From Scratch
This engaging team building activity will have you making delicious sushi rolls while improving essential skills. Chef Tiore will teach you the techniques and recipes for two types of rolls. First, learn to make the perfect sushi rice. Then, layer the rice, crab, avocado and cucumber on a nori sheet to make a California roll. Next, make a classic shrimp tempura layered with cucumber and avocado. You'll learn to roll these up like a pro. Break into teams and work together to make unique rolls using mix-in ingredients like mangos, jalapeños and sriracha mayonnaise.

Chef Tiore (like Dior) made our class everything we wanted it to be! Her fun yet laid back energy made everyone feel at ease and comfortable. She is clearly super knowledgeable but took her time explaining each step of our pasta making adventure. Everyone was able to participate in each part of the process and Chef Tiore was patient, funny and approachable the whole time. I will definitely look to book more of her classes!!

Meet your chef
Chef Tiore's culinary enterprises and love of food and travel have taken her through her classical French culinary training, an apprenticeship in Paris and over 10 years of experience in catering kitchens and hotel restaurants, allowing her to cultivate her gourmet creativity. These experiences propelled her to begin her own personal chef and small events catering business and have assisted with developing a true appreciation and reverence for the food she loves to create. On top of all of the aprons she wears in the kitchen, Chef Tiore values taking the time to teach everyone and anyone, from novice to experienced cooks, and finds joy in bringing the love for food, friends and family, back to every table.
