Team Building Activity: Team Sushi Slice-Up
Take your crew into the kitchen for a team building activity where sushi tops the menu! Chef Timothy has assembled and exciting group lesson with a dash of friendly competition thrown in for good measure.
This rocking and rolling lesson begins with a session in preparing pitch-perfect sushi rice, the base for your fantastic creations. Your budding gourmets will also create a spread of sweet and savory fillings like cucumber, tempura shrimp, and fresh vegetables to use in their recipes. Then, your team breaks into smaller groups and applies their newfound skills to a sushi contest where flavor, presentation and creativity rule the rolls.
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcoholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.

This was the first time that my wife and I had taken a cooking course. There was virtually no instruction unless you were one of the lucky ones around the table that happened to be in front of him while he demonstrated. The resulting product was not really edible. The rice was a mushy mess. The whole time the class felt rushed and disorganized.

Chef was great but the food was not great quality and the rice was cooked weird.

Absolutely loved this class. Chef Timothy was very knowledgeable and informative. It was just a really cool and unique experience. The sushi was also delicious! :)

Chef Timothy is living his childhood dream as a personal chef and culinary instructor in Nashville. With past experience that includes teaching cooking classes for kids and working as a private chef, Chef Timothy is an engaging teacher for all ages and skill levels. He loves to cook international cuisine as well as classic southern fare, and his goal is to bring the life-giving joy of wonderful food to every guest.
