San Diego - man molding clay on pottery wheel outdoors Shot

San Diego - hand pinched clay on pottery wheel Shot

In this hands-on, outdoor pottery class, each student receives individual attention from Instructor Jeffrey. He’ll demonstrate how to use the pottery wheel to mold clay into beautiful sculptures. You choose what you’d like to make, from cups to bowls to vases. After glazing your creation, you can then bring it home to show off to friends and family. Pottery may just become your new favorite hobby!

BYOB (bring your own beverage). Recommended ages 14 and up or as a family activity.

This is a BYOB venue and alcoholic beverages are not available for sale. You are welcome to bring beer and wine to enjoy during class.

Great time! Harder than I thought it’d be. Great instruction. Wear clothes you don’t mind dirtying and ladies make sure you wear bottoms you can squat in. Would recommend!

Just an amazing experience from start to finish! My fiance and I went to fulfill one of her childhood dreams of learning how to make pottery. It was fun and educational and we had a blast with the other people in the class too. Lots of laughs over wobbly pottery. It really makes you appreciate the high level of skill that the teacher possesses and the amazing art he’s able to create. We will definitely go back!

He also teaches painting, drawing and sculpture classes for beginning artists.
