Digital photography is an amazing way to capture the special moments in your life, but for those without experience, digital cameras can be challenging to understand. Let instructors help demystify these powerful devices in this introductory online class. You’ll learn how light affects your images, how to achieve a blurred background to make your subject stand out, how to create an artful motion blur, how to use partial manual controls in P mode (your camera should have this mode if you plan to enroll) and much more. There will also be exercises throughout the class that allow you to practice what you’ve learned.

I just finished Digital Photo I. The class exceeded my expectations in every way. The teachers were wonderful and presented all information in a clear and comprehensive fashion. I had to miss one class due to a conflict, and they made it easy to make up that class. The printed materials you get as part of the class are very helpful. Before this class, I never moved out of Auto mode on my camera. Now I will never move out of Manual. I never though I would be able to learn so quickly or so well in just one course that this would be possible. I'm signing up for the next course now!
