Online Cooking Class: Trader Joe's: From Frozen Favorites to Homemade Classics

In this fun online cooking class, you'll join Chef Chris for a recreation of three of Trader Joe's popular frozen dishes from scratch. You'll use fresh and organic ingredients to prepare a flaky pot pie crust and a savory sweet potato curry with coconut milk, onions, carrots, ginger and garlic. Dessert is a tart kiss of citrus in the form of a key lime pie with a gingersnap crust.

Chef Chris is very knowledgeable about cooking and the art of making pasta! I do think the class is a bit too full and too expensive, took almost 3 hours to complete everything and eat. After paying for the class you also have to pay for drinks from the restaurant which would be nice to get a complimentary one for the price. Overall I don’t think I’ll do the class again just because it was too long and too many people in the small space.

This was awesome! A lot better than I could have expected. The food was great and we got to make it ourselves ☺️ Going with a group allows for an elevated experience plus getting out and exploring more foods! Chef was lovely and will definitely be seeing us again!

We had lots of fun making our pasta and he answered any questions we had! He was easy to follow along with and the pasta a sauce was absolutely amazing! Definitely a great experience!
