Online Cooking Class: Three-Week Series: Basic Cooking Skills

This three-week online cooking class series is a great way to develop your cooking skills. Chef Angela-Michelle will teach you how to prepare three dishes using easy-to-follow instructions. She'll also provide a lesson on knife skills and the best ways to use spices and seasonings in your home cooking.
Week one of your virtual cooking class series features a vegetable stir-fry with rice, garlic and vegetables. Poached salmon with lemon and dill is on the menu for week two. For week three, you'll prepare chicken fried chicken thighs and savory macaroni and cheese.

Week 1: Vegetable Stir-Fry
With rice, onions, peas, bell peppers, carrots, garlic and soy sauce
Week 2: Poached Lemon and Dill Salmon
With sautéed corn, bell peppers and onions
Week 3: Chicken Fried Chicken Thighs
With macaroni and cheddar cheese
Chef demonstrates each step and assists you as you perform each step.

Chef was enthusiastic, and the food was very good. The class was very rushed though and required most of the cooking to be done beforehand, which we had not been told. This made it hard to follow and not particularly enjoyable.

Chef Angela-Michelle was very friendly and a wonderful teacher. The class was well-paced, the instructions were easy to follow, and the food was delicious! I’d highly recommend classes with her :)
Meet your chef
Chef Angela-Michelle grew up surrounded by food on her family’s farm. Her parents were both chefs who taught her to cook by the age of six and bake by the age of eight. It's no surprise that she has a cookbook in the works! She is a world traveler, certified in plant-based nutrition and the founder and owner of her own successful cooking company that teaches interested students how to shop well, cook well, eat well — and live well.
