It was an amazing experience - from buying grocery from the local market to preparing & cooking the dishes. The food turned out to be amazing. Chef Lorena easily invites everyone into her passion for cooking. She’s a consummate teacher, flawlessly inviting each to be part of the process. Sophia and Alberto greeted us at the door of the townhouse where we had our cooking lesson, and immediately made us feel welcome. We toured the market where they had bought our produce earlier that day, and showed us all the grocery vendors and the little food stalls. Then we walked back to the townhouse and made tortillas, salsa, tacos, and guacamole. They were fantastic hosts and teachers, and we had a great time. They made us feel so at home, instead of a class the experience felt like having dinner at home with your fun friends.
