Spring brings soft pastel colors to the forefront and flavors for Starbucks spring drinks ranging from floral to fruity. Many, you can get hot or cold depending on your taste. The star of the spring menu is lavender. Beyond the menu items, it can also be added to other drinks and secret menu offerings.

Is Starbucks lavender temporary? Available only for a limited time in the spring, many are hoping the Starbucks lavender drinks make a return, but it is yet to be seen. While divisive among customers, many rave of a flavor that closely resembles an exquisite artisanal lavender ice cream. The majority of Starbucks spring drinks are iced or blended, but you can also order many hot drinks on those chilly mornings for a dose of springtime in your cup.

The Best of the Starbucks Spring Drinks Menu

Iced Lavender Oat Milk Latte

Another drink that expertly uses the trademarked lavender powder in Starbucks’ kitchens combines it with their blonde espresso roast and oat milk, though you can actually swap out any dairy for the oat milk. This means you can get your caffeine jolt with a dose of spring flavor. A hot version is also available.

Lavender Creme Frappuccino

This purple icy treat mixes the lavender with vanilla syrup and ice, as well as their Frappuccino mix for a blended lavender concoction that many liken to Fruity Pebbles cereal. You can top it off with regular whipped cream or ask for a little lavender cold foam atop the drink.

Iced Strawberry Matcha Tea Latte

Another superbly Instagrammable favorite, the rich green of the iced matcha gives way to soft pink strawberry cold foam on top. The strawberry cold foam has less of the floral taste that some hate about the lavender drinks but looks just as pretty on your morning table or in your cup holder.

Iced Caramelised Macadamia Oat Shaken Espresso

Shaken expressos are fast becoming one of the most popular items on the Starbucks menu. This one uses their blonde espresso roast combined with caramelized macadamia syrup and oat milk. You can also substitute your favorite dairy in place of oat milk.

What is the lavender drink at Starbucks?  This Starbucks spring drink menu item is as pretty as it is flavorful, boasting a wash of green beneath a purple-hued lavender cold foam frothing the top, a combo that evokes popular spring wedding colors.

This has prompted thousands of Instagram photos, making it a viral favorite last spring. The bitter and varied flavor of matcha is balanced delightfully by the floral and sweet taste of the foam.

Iced Toasted Vanilla Oat Shaken Espresso

Similar to the Starbucks spring drink above, this one swaps the macadamia flavor or rich and sweet toasted vanilla for even creamier and sweeter results.

Iced Raspberry Latte

While a staple of the Starbucks secret menu for many years, this one is a great choice if you are not into lavender, but still want a pretty pastel-colored drink. Order a regular latte with your choice of dairy, with a couple of added pumps of raspberry syrup.

The vivid pink syrup turns it into a bright dessert-like drink. For deeper flavor and color, make it a mocha instead. The hot version makes a delicious Starbucks winter drink too.

Strawberries and Cream Refresher

While their line of refreshers is often thought of as summertime drinks, the sweet pastel hue of this favorite off the Starbucks secret menu is a surefire hit. Ask for a strawberry açai refresher without the water, to which they add strawberry puree and regular sweet cream.
