Cooking Class: Handmade Italian Pasta and Sauces

Explore the art of making traditional Italian pasta in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Paolo. 


In this cooking class, you'll learn how to make basic pasta dough with flour, eggs, water, salt and olive oil. Then, use fresh local ingredients to make an earthy ricotta and spinach ravioli. Or try your hand at using squid ink to make black pasta with salmon. You'll also craft potato gnocchi, tagliatelle and fettuccine. As the pasta boils, whip up a few sauces to pair with the pasta. Learn how to make a classic tomato sauce seasoned with herbs, a spicy arrabbiata sauce, a mushroom cream sauce, a Carbonara and more. Combine your pasta and sauce and dive into your Italian feast. Finish the meal with a crunchy and nutty semifreddo for dessert.
