Cooking Class: Authentic Italian Pizza and Homemade Focaccia
Chef Paolo will teach the recipes for homemade pizza and a variety of breads in this cooking class.
Begin the class by making bakery-fresh breads from scratch. You'll make a traditional whole wheat bread, a soft semolina flour bread and a rustic Tuscan bread, baking each until they're perfectly golden brown. Make an authentic Ligurian focaccia, topping it with aromatic herbs. Then, master the art of making pizza dough from scratch. Practice the technique to knead the dough and roll it out before piling the pizza high with creamy mozzarella and your choice of topping, like spicy salami, Parma ham and fresh tomatoes. Finish off with a dessert pizza topped with chocolate and seasonal fruit to end the meal on a sweet note.
