Cooking Class: Make an Italian Vegetarian Menu in Sicily

Join Chef Trina, a local expert chef, to make vegetarian Italian classics in this cooking class.


Begin the class by practicing knife skills to slice aubergines and courgettes, then whip up a creamy sauce with double cream and Gruyère cheese for a vegetable gratin. Next, mix durum flour, eggs and olive oil to make pasta from scratch. As the noodles boil, whip up a zesty sauce with feta, pesto, Datterino tomatoes and Pecorino cheese to pair with it. Top crispy bread with basil pesto, burrata and tomatoes to make bruschetta for a refreshing side. Finish the meal with an authentic cornetto pudding topped with homemade ice cream for dessert.
