Cooking Class: Make Pizza and Gelato in Tuscany

Discover how delicious Italian food can be in this hands-on cooking class in Tuscany. 


Chef Marcella, an expert in the local culinary scene, will teach you how to make authentic pizza and gelato from scratch. You'll begin the class by making a Margherita pizza. Combine flour, eggs and salt to make pizza dough from scratch. Then, learn the techniques to knead the dough and form it into a crust. Layer on fresh tomato sauce and cheese before baking it until golden and bubbly. Next, you'll use the dough to make a focaccia pizza. Finish the meal on a sweet note by making homemade vanilla and chocolate gelato for dessert. 


Chef Marcella will provide a unique souvenir of Italian culinary techniques you can take back to your own kitchen.

I had a fabulous time! Lots of cooking, eating, learning and laughing. Chef Marcella was great and her enthusiasm and passion for Italian food was infectious! If you stop off in Florence make sure you visit one of the classes. It is definitely worth it!!
