Cooking Class: Make Traditional Pasta in Sicily With Local Chef

Learn the art of pasta making in this hands-on cooking class in Sicily!


Chef Chef Maria-Pia will teach you the techniques passed down for generations to craft pasta from scratch. Master the art of making pasta and pairing it with two decadent sauces. Combine flour, eggs and water to make pasta dough and learn the technique to roll out the dough and shape it into noodles. As the pasta boils, make savory meatballs and a classic tomato sauce flavored with parsley and topped with caciocavallo. Next, cook up a crispy eggplant for pasta alla norma topped with grated ricotta. For dessert, biancomangiare, a sweet and creamy Sicilian pudding topped with pistachio cream to end on a sweet note.
