Get a taste of authentic Italian with a delightful cooking class in Sicily. Chef Marco will take you through Palermo's Capo Market to select regional ingredients for an authentic Italian meal.
Master the time-honored recipe to make pasta dough from scratch using flour, eggs and water. Whip up a pistachio pesto filling or a basil, ricotta pesto filling. As the pasta cooks, cook a fresh tomato sauce to pair with it. Learn how to prepare swordfish the Italian way with breadcrumbs, pine nuts and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and use fresh eggplant to make a caponata with capers, green olives and red onion. Finish on a sweet note by crafting a handmade cannoli finished with chocolate chips and pistachios.
