Dance Class: The Marvelous Merengue: Intermediate Partnerwork
This merengue dance class — inspired by Instructor Jose’s Puerto Rican and New York City heritage — is perfect for dancers with some experience who want to take their skills to the next level. You’ll learn how to move in sync with your partner. If you don’t have a partner, one will be provided for you. Instructor Jose will teach you a variety of merengue fundamentals, from effective partnerwork to proper footwork. If you’re eager to expand your merengue skills, then this is the class for you!

Best beginner salsa class. I had fun, learned something and wasn't too terribly awkward lol

We were under the impression that the class was beginner salsa. When we got there, he kept on saying these are advance moves, and with a Coppa style. We paid money to learn the basics, and he didn’t even walk over to help us. I will give them that we were 15 minutes late however, after we arrived, he never showed us any steps and kept on going with the advanced routine. He even confessed that, these moves are more advanced and if we would like to see more packages later that we could stay after. He says he just gets people through the door and then sell bait and switched and didn’t appreciate him wasting our time.
