Cooking Class: Cooking French Fare for the Ages

Learn how to incorporate a wide range of fresh ingredients in this French-style cooking class hosted by Chef Misun.


Begin by preparing a Niçoise salad featuring poached sashimi-grade tuna, crisp French green beans, boiled eggs and a tangy white wine vinaigrette. Next, master the art of cooking beef Bourguignon using filet mignon braised in red wine and cognac, paired with velvety mashed potatoes. Finally, craft a rich custard and caramelize its surface to create a creamy crème brûlée.

My mother and I had such a wonderful time with Chef Minsun. She was friendly and efficient and took the time to really teach us her techniques. My mom loved asking her questions and taking notes. And of course the food was delicious! Highly recommend this experience - it made an intimate, one of a kind gift.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my mother’s birthday. She was patient, sweet , and respectful. We all loved learning how to make the dough for the ravioli. Amazing hands on experience!
