Cooking Class: Make Spectacular Sushi from Scratch

Master everything you need to know about sushi-making in this exciting in-person cooking class from Chef Timothy, from ingredient selections to five-star plating. He'll show you how to bring your favorite sushi creations to the table for a true gourmet treat. 


Being with a session in gyoza, a Japanese dish made from your choice of pork or chicken, seasoned with soy sauce and ginger, and assemble an array of sushi sauces. Then, practice your knifing and rolling skills as you create an array of rolled and sliced sushi, including rainbow and Philadelphia rolls, as well as nigiri and sashimi. You'll also learn the art of plating your sushi in artful arrangements.

This was the first time that my wife and I had taken a cooking course. There was virtually no instruction unless you were one of the lucky ones around the table that happened to be in front of him while he demonstrated. The resulting product was not really edible. The rice was a mushy mess. The whole time the class felt rushed and disorganized.

Chef was great but the food was not great quality and the rice was cooked weird.
