Don't love fish? You can still enjoy sushi, and this hands-on cooking class with Chef Patrick will help you discover how! You'll learn valuable new cooking skills as Chef Patrick guides you through the time-honored techniques of sushi-making and you'll discover inspiring new vegetarian recipes.
To start, you'll learn how to make the perfect sushi rice from scratch. Then, slice and layer vegetables including crisp cucumber, fresh avocado, shiitake mushrooms and more to roll up artful sushi rolls like a pro. Discover bold new flavors from classic Japanese spices and make sushi your new favorite meal to make at home!
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.

With sushi rice, nori, shiitake mushrooms, sesame seeds and ponzu sauce

Chef Patrick was perfect! He interacted with everyone and made the experience more enjoyable. The food was incredible, everyone loved it. Including the picky eaters. I absolutely loved loved the food. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently had a good experience with one of your cooks, his name is Chef Patrick! He is a great Cook and a great Person to be around. We enjoyed his Skills and loved the Food! It was incredibly good! Especially me, I actually do not like everyone’s food but I would always come back to Chef Patrick. I would highly recommend him and his Cooking Skills to anyone who likes to eat extremely well. Thanks again for such a good service, I will see you soon.
Throughout his colorful career, Chef Patrick has garnered a world of culinary talents. He’s worked in a variety of roles in some of the best restaurants in Utah, including stints as a bartender, a barista, a sous chef and a baker. He’s even mastered the theatrical art of teppanyaki, performing for patrons while preparing delicious hibachi-style dishes. Chef Patrick loves sharing his expertise with eager home cooks hoping to expand their gourmet skills.
