In this hands-on class with Chef Renee, you are invited to let your taste buds wander the streets of Shanghai as you learn how to prepare two of the city's most iconic street food dumplings.
Chef Renee will begin by teaching you how to prepare xiao long bao, which are made by wrapping and neatly pleating delicate, almost translucent dumpling skins around an aromatic pork filling and a mouthful of savory broth. Then, you will learn the easy-to-master techniques needed to handcraft jiaozi dumplings exploding with comforting and exotic flavors.
Cooking Classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.
