Explore the flavors of Ecuador with a plant-based meal in this hands-on cooking class. Chefs Luis and Sabrina will teach you how to make vegan versions of Ecuadorian dishes while infusing some fresh, tropical ingredients.
To start, you'll make a hearts of palm appetizer mixed with savory onions and cilantro and a tangy squeeze of lime. Next, use vegan chorizo in a rice dish mixed with seaweed, mushrooms and kelp with a rich red wine sauce and a mix of spices. Give potatoes the perfect crisp and flavor them with sage, thyme and oregano and a heavenly peanut butter sauce to dip them into. A decadent vegan chocolate pie topped with coconut flakes serves as dessert.
