Begin with a savory French onion soup filled with creamy gruyère cheese and croutons. Next, enjoy coq au vin for your main meal, loaded with vegetables, herbs and chicken braised in red wine. Prepare rich, flavorful ratatouille and tomato Clamart to serve on the side. For dessert, you’ll learn how to caramelize a French favorite: crème brûlée. Bon appétit!

Derrick was awesome!! We thoroughly enjoyed the class and experience and are looking forward to signing up for another! He brought the tools of the trade with him and explained step by step along with cooking tips. I highly recommend his class!

This was a great evening event (date night). Chef Derik is such a great person and made everyone feel welcome. He encouraged each person to “roll up their sleeves” and get involved. We will be doing another one soon.

Over the past 30 years, Chef Derrick has built an admirable career in the culinary arts. His time in the kitchen has taken him from Philippines to California in roles ranging from line cook to head chef. Much of his experience occurred in the hospitality industry, which provided him a keen service-oriented skill set.
