Discover the science behind what makes your favorite baked goods so great in this insightful cooking class led by Chef Monica. In this exciting lesson, you'll get to try your hand at a number of expert baking techniques as you create bread, pasta, cookies and a flaky tart.
Start off strong by mastering the art of bread-making as you craft a base for a basil and sweet tomato bruschetta bite. Next, you'll create traditional French pâte à choux dough and transform it into sweet and savory Parisian gnocchi. This fun class features two dessert courses: delightfully unique basil cookies and a classic French tarte Tatin made from ripe apples gently wrapped in a short-crust dough and baked to golden perfection.

The class was supposed to be a competition. At the end, Monica said she could not judge so "everyone is a winner". We had bought prizes for only the winning team. We were also told we would learn how to make sauces. She made one, brought another from a different chef, and bypassed the alfredo sauce. Very disappointing for almost $1,000.

Location wasn’t quite what I expected, but Chef Monica was just the sweetest. I really enjoyed a solo date night learning how to make pasta. Immediately went online to buy my own pasta maker. Thank you for your kind attitude and sharing your passion. The pasta and experience was *chef’s kiss*!

Excellent experience! Loved the two sushi rolls we made. Chef Monica gave us easy-to-follow instructions and had a very friendly and positive attitude throughout our session! She helped each and every one of us and the whole experience was great. Bonus was the Japanese dessert in the end which was an absolute surprise since one of the participants was celebrating their birthday! Great experience, definitely worth a shot :D
