Cooking Class: Classic Mexican Cooking for Kids
Young foodies will have a blast learning valuable kitchen skills and recipes for their favorite Mexican eats in this hands-on cooking class led by Chef Parsati. Chef Parsati will provide an insightful, fun lesson on all things culinary as your budding chefs get comfortable in the kitchen and make four homemade dishes.
To start, Chef Parsati will teach everyone how to make fresh corn tortilla chips, served alongside a hearty tomato salsa. They'll also get to learn how to make guacamole to serve alongside a perfectly crisp quesadilla with a three-cheese blend. For the main course, kids will learn that healthy can be delicious as they put together a savory burrito bowl topped with juicy chicken fajitas and vegetables. Dessert will be a fun one: coconut and white chocolate popsicles.
A minimum of one adult is required to be in attendance per group. Adults are required to purchase tickets in addition to kids. This class is recommended for children aged 5-15.

Chef Parsati is sweet and kind welcoming us to her home. Her home is very clean and organized. Being an amateur in the kitchen, she was able to walk me through the steps for cooking without feeling too pressured. The food (Vegetarian Japanese) itself was amazing and less greasy than what we’ve had in restaurants. It was an awesome experience for our anniversary. Thank you Chef for the great food and hospitality.

“Paru” gave my friend and I a fascinating short course on the cuisine of Northern India and then we sat down to a delicious meal we had helped prepare with her guidance. We learned so many things and are well on our way to a new culinary journey in our own kitchens! Every one of the 4 dishes is a “keeper!”
