In this engaging cooking class, you will learn the art of crafting fresh, authentic tuna poke bowls. These colorful bowls are the perfect healthy dish packed full of a variety of flavors. Chef Dan will teach you how to balance flavors and textures to make this classic Hawaiian dish while helping you improve your kitchen skills.
First, you will learn how to handle sushi-grade ahi tuna to slice over a bed of perfectly cooked rice. Explore the bold flavors influenced by Japanese cuisine when you mix in soy sauce and rice vinegar for a tantalizing dressing. Then chop up a mix of fresh vegetables for the perfect hearty crunch in your poke bowl.
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcoholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.
This class is appropriate for guests aged 13 and up.
