Take a lovely culinary journey to the French countryside in this hands-on cooking class. French cooking enthusiast Chef Annie will guide you through the process of making five rustic dishes as you learn how to turn fresh, simple ingredients into a robust, gourmet meal.
In this course, you'll get a French lesson in plating as you prepare artful-looking miniature canapé toasts with creamy brie and tomato jam. You'll also get to learn an expert's recipe and methods for traditional French coq au vin, a hearty braised chicken and vegetable dish that will become your new cozy home dinner staple. Serve that with creamy, buttery herb potatoes and lemony asparagus. End this class on a sweet note as you learn authentic French pastry-making techniques to create a delightful almond and pear tart.

Chef Annie was wonderful. She was kind, personable and informative. The food was fantastic.
Chef Annie became enamored with cooking at an early age, teaching herself to prepare complex dishes like duck confit as a teenager. She built a career in accounting before making the leap to culinary school to study baking and pastry arts. She began a business as a private chef while selling her own baked creations on the side. With her transition to culinary instructor, Chef Annie now brings her talents to an exciting new arena.
