Discover the incredible tradition of French cuisine in this in-person cooking class with Chef Monica. She'll share her expertise and her knowledge of the region as she teaches you to create a savory spread of your own. You'll prepare a luxurious menu that includes vegetable sorbet flavored with mint and basil, a creamy gratin soup featuring shallots and roquefort cheese and a classic coq au vin in a red wine and butter braise. For dessert, create an authentic apple tarte tatin flavored with rum and topped with luscious vanilla ice cream.
MENU
Vegetable Sorbet
With peas, leeks, parsley, cucumber, mint, tomatoes and basil
Gratin Soup of Shallots et Roquefort
With butter, bread, Cognac, red wine, chicken stock and spices
Free-Range Chicken Coq au Vin
With mushrooms, red wine, Cognac, butter, onion, carrots and garlic
Apple Tarte Tatin and Vanilla Ice Cream
With butter, rum, milk, eggs and sugar

Chef Monica made the class fun & enjoyable! She really takes the time to make sure you have all of your questions answered, and the food was absolutely delicious! 10/10 will take again

The class was supposed to be a competition. At the end, Monica said she could not judge so "everyone is a winner". We had bought prizes for only the winning team. We were also told we would learn how to make sauces. She made one, brought another from a different chef, and bypassed the alfredo sauce. Very disappointing for almost $1,000.

Her passion for healthy food has always been her North Star. She specializes in vegan and vegetarian catering and has even created her own plant-based food line. Chef Monica counts many Michelin-starred chefs among her admirers and collaborators.
