Chef Kia will teach you how to make four unique pastas in this hands-on cooking class. You'll prepare spaghetti, penne, shells and gnocchi to incorporate into four delicious a unique Italian dishes.
First up is a classic dish of fresh spaghetti with a fresh Pomodoro sauce. Then make buttery penne alla vodka, tossing your penne with shrimp, garlic and lemon. Next you'll make a hearty homemade Bolognese sauce to top your pasta shells, and finally you'll roll pillowy ricotta gnocchi and serve it with a tomato sauce.

Fresh Spaghetti al Pomodoro
With crushed tomatoes, parsley, Parmesan and basil
Fresh Penne alla Vodka
With shrimp, garlic, lemon, butter and thyme
Bolognese
With shells, cherry peppers and red onions
Fresh Gnocchi
With ricotta, potatoes, flour and tomato sauce

Chef Kia is passionate about sharing her love of food with others. She shared a lot of helpful tips and techniques with us and we had a wonderful time. If you are in the NYC/NJ area, I highly recommend taking her classes and hiring her as your next private chef!
A New York City native, Chef Kia began her culinary career working with pastries at a true NYC hotspot. After honing her pastry skills for a few years, she decided to become a line cook to round out and perfect her culinary capabilities, and she quickly worked her way up to lead cook. Her favorite cuisine is French, with a creative Asian fusion, but she’s a fan of all good flavors and interesting culinary techniques.
