Cooking Class: Shanghai Culinary Tour
Learn how to make several popular Shanghai-style dim sum dishes in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Wei. You'll even learn how to make homemade noodles. But first, you'll learn how to make popular savory pan-friend scallion pancakes. Then it's time to prepare the noodles for classic Shanghai noodles with stir-fried meat and vegetables. Round out the meal with a savory, vegetable-packed soup.

Chef Wei was wonderful along with the 3 course creations. She took her time in showing you the steps and created a warm environment. I would definitely recommended booking a class with her.

I was incredibly disappointed with this experience, it was almost laughably bad. It started with Chef Wei meeting us at the door with her pajamas pants on and went down from there. Nothing was prepped in advance, the countertops of her kitchen weren't clean, she didn't wash her hands one time during the entire class, the pots, dishes and utensils weren't sterilized. I had taken my partner for a date night and was embarrassed by this experience. I feel we were completely taken advantage of at $120/pp. I do not recommend at all.

Chef Wei is an experienced culinary instructor with her specialty being dim sum. She is a delight to learn from and her dishes are just as enjoyable. I enjoyed learning a new cuisine type from Chef Wei.
