Cooking Class: Southern Comfort Food

Experience the soul-warming aspect of Southern comfort food in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Pamela. She'll teach you all the techniques behind this beloved cuisine, like how to perfectly time a batch of crispy fried chicken and build a buttery, creamy roux for luxurious macaroni and cheese. You'll also prepare three traditional sides with unique twists of flavor: smoked collard greens, candied yams and cornbread waffles. Lastly, you'll finish your meal with a classic Southern dessert, peach cobbler with homemade ice cream.

There is no one like Pam, and there is NOTHING like her food. You can literally taste the love she adds to every meal. We have done house events with her, gone to Chef's table for special occasions, and signed up many weeks with the meal delivery, and her classes are legendary. Take a class, or have Chef come and cook for... you can thank me later! Truly a California culinary dream weaver.
