Cooking Class: Root Vegetables Go Gourmet
Join Chef Rachel for a gourmet vegan cooking class featuring vibrant herbs and hearty vegetables. You'll learn how to slice, dice and roast while creating a vegan menu. Start with a French carrot salad topped with parsley, honey and lemon Dijon vinaigrette. Follow this with stuffed portobello mushrooms with balsamic vinegar, garlic and vegan cheese. Your entrée is roasted root vegetables and herb cheese. Dessert is a light and fluffy chocolate mousse prepared with avocado, vegan milk and fruit.

Rachel was very helpful and the meal was genuinely delicious. I feel confident that I could recreate it now on my own. If you have allergies let her know so you can plan together to avoid them in your meal. She was very sweet with our dog and made due with our minimal tools and experience. We would definitely work with her again!
