In this one-of-a-kind cooking class, Chef Dan will teach you how to prepare a menu he once served to a former president and first lady at their country club. After creating and tasting these dishes, you’ll feel presidential yourself! You’ll first prepare savory grilled shrimp and grits, followed by an enticing wedge salad topped with sliced gorgonzola dressing. For the main course, you’ll make a perfectly grilled veal chop with a side of bacon-wrapped fingerling potatoes and brown-sugar glazed Brussels sprouts. To finish the meal, Chef Dan will teach you how to craft a mouthwatering apple caramel trifle.

No direction in the beginning, no microphone so it was difficult to hear, only one food station and it was not ready so there was a lot of waiting and a VERY long line. Venue was freezing cold inside, had to wear a winter coat the entire time. Tables were set with 5 seats, guests had to rearrange so that they could sit 4 or 6. Not enough supplies for the number of people, had to share sushi mats and knives and cutting boards, etc.... Demonstration station was blocked by large plastic wrap box, hard to see. Avocados were not prepped, and when Chef Dan cut them, he did so in large chucks/slices, which was not ideal for sushi. Only one cutting station and one condiment station with sauces and such, more lines to wait in. Would NOT recommend. Will not take any more classes, very disappointed.
