Cooking Class: The Perfect Pizza

Learn how to craft the perfect pizza in this fun and exciting cooking class with Chef Danielle! She'll start by teaching you the basics before showing you the secrets to more nuanced and advanced pizza-making techniques. You'll being the class by making a roasted tomato Caprese salad with balsamic vinegar, mozzarella and fresh basil. Then, you'll build your first pizza from scratch, starting with homemade pizza dough and a savory homemade sauce of tomatoes, garlic and basil. Once sauced and ready, you'll then top your pizza with apple slices, blue cheese crumbles and caramelized onions before baking it in the oven. Lastly, you'll whip up an authentic Italian dessert, creamy zeppole pastries to end the class.

Danielle showed me how to make a yummy vegetable side dish of garlic broccolini. I was very curious what the difference between regular broccoli and broccolini is and she was able to easily inform me of the differences of texture and taste. The dish turned out beautifully. I would love to learn from Chef Danielle again.
