Cooking Class: Fantastic Asian Fusion
In this interactive, Asian fusion cooking class, you’ll learn how to prepare both Japanese and Filipino recipes using sushi-grade fish, Filipino-style spaghetti and more. You’ll begin by making a tataki-style (briefly seared) dish with fresh tuna, ponzu citrus sauce and scallions. Chef Mickey will then teach you how to make nigiri-style sushi from scratch. For the main course, you’ll whip up a popular Philippines noodle recipe, using ground pork and sweet tomato sauce. To cap the meal, you’ll bake a decadent butter cake.

We loved our class with Chef Mickey! He was so welcoming and informative. We had so much fun learning how to roll sushi and have the skills now to make it at home. I highly recommend this class to anyone that wants to develop their culinary skills and enjoy a night out!
Chef Mickey has worked as a sushi chef for nearly 10 years, and is excited to share his passion with others. As a head chef, he understands the importance of efficiency and skill when preparing handmade sushi and is ready to pass those tips and techniques on to fellow food lovers. In addition to sushi rolling, Chef Mickey teaches classes on creating hot and cold appetizers, decadent desserts and specialties of Filipino cuisine.
