Cooking Class: Japanese-Filipino Fusion
Join Chef Mickey in this cooking class featuring the traditional techniques and fresh ingredients of Japanese and Filipino cuisine. Using popular recipes from the Southeast Asian countries of Japan and the Philippines, you'll start with a sweet glazed tuna poke and seaweed salad. Your entrée is a time-honored Filipino pork adobo dish with soy sauce and garlic. For dessert, enjoy creamy custard flan drizzled with a sweet caramel sauce.

We loved our class with Chef Mickey! He was so welcoming and informative. We had so much fun learning how to roll sushi and have the skills now to make it at home. I highly recommend this class to anyone that wants to develop their culinary skills and enjoy a night out!
Chef Mickey has worked as a sushi chef for nearly 10 years, and is excited to share his passion with others. As a head chef, he understands the importance of efficiency and skill when preparing handmade sushi and is ready to pass those tips and techniques on to fellow food lovers. In addition to sushi rolling, Chef Mickey teaches classes on creating hot and cold appetizers, decadent desserts and specialties of Filipino cuisine.
