You’ll create traditional, time-honored Jamaican dishes in this interactive, hands-on cooking class. Chef Kirk will teach you how to prepare an eclectic variety of delicious and distinctly Jamaican dishes. First, you’ll craft crispy salt fish fritters — a classic Jamaican appetizer. Next, you’ll prepare Jamaica’s iconic jerk chicken, using special seasonings and spices that add a unique twist to this famous dish (which is served with rice and peas). For dessert, Chef Kirk will demonstrate how to make sweet plantain cake fritters with vanilla bean ice cream.
