Enhance your grill skills in this unique, hands-on cooking class with Chef Jenn. You’ll learn how to use fresh, vegan ingredients to create a flavor-packed feast — an impressive barbeque spread that highlights the range and versatility of plant-based cooking. To begin, you’ll prepare a bright and herbaceous apple and fennel salad. For the main dish, you’ll learn how to transform jackfruit into tender, smoky BBQ ribs paired with a side of garlic potatoes and charred vegetables. To finish the meal, you’ll make a sweet and nutty grilled peach crumble with praline pecans.

I enjoyed Chef Jenn's teaching style and the class, but I would have liked more variety in the ingredients offered. We were taught to make 3 or 4 different styles of sushi and everything was made out of the same two ingredients - avocado and smoked salmon. I don't like smoked salmon and that was the only fish offered, so I didn't eat anything I made. To me, sushi is primarily raw fish, and I was excited about enjoying the food.
