Cooking Class: Braising Basics

Learn the basics of meat braising in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Chris. He'll teach you all the tips and tricks for transforming even the toughest pieces of meat into succulent and tender meals. You'll learn how to properly braise short ribs, crafting soft, tender hunks of meat infused with the flavors of a mirepoix. You'll also prepare a homemade Irish whiskey gravy to serve alongside your short ribs, as well as a side dish of slow-roasted root vegetable au gratin. Finally, your rich and savory meal will conclude with a sweet citrus cream cheese berry tart for dessert.

This was so much fun!! We took our son for his 22nd birthday and he was so impressed. Chef Chris made it so easy for us to create our own version of sushi rolls and stepped in to help everyone!! We will be back for another class. Thank you so much for showing us something new.
