Learn how to prepare authentic Vietnamese dishes in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Thuy. You'll start with crispy shrimp sweet potato fritters before enjoying a savory egg drop soup with chicken and baby corn. Then, Chef Thuy will teach you how to expertly fry up pompano fish, which you'll garnish with crisp green mango and a spicy fish sauce. Lastly, you'll end the class with something sweet and indulge in a traditional banana and tapioca pearl dessert.

Chef Thuy showed me how to make Japanese dumplings. She clearly talked about each ingredient as she cooked. I learned the technique of partly frying and partly steaming. This is how they are crunchy on one side and still soft and chewy on the other. They looked delicious when they were done. She also showed me how to make a homemade dipping sauce for them. She was very friendly and we had a nice conversation during the class.
From Japan and Vietnam to several US states, Chef Thuy has made her culinary mark all over the world, from Vietnam to Japan to the United States. She's an expert in gourmet entrées, divine sauces and decadent desserts. In 2020, she taught chefs in New York alongside the season three winner of Master Chef, Christine Ha. Equipped with a superb culinary flair and years of extensive experience, Chef Thuy is eager to share her skills with aspiring chefs.
