Experience the fresh ingredients and robust flavors of the Mediterranean in this vibrant in-person cooking class with Chef Kim Monique. She'll guide you on a culinary tour that brings specialties from the sun-soaked region to your dining room table. You'll prepare grilled octopus charred to perfection and served in a salad with heirloom tomatoes and fresh fish paired with capers and olives. There are potatoes on the side, flavored with lemon and feta, and a traditional dessert of pears poached in apple cider and served with pistachios and honey.

Chef Kim demonstrated how to make a very healthy salad with ingredients that were out of what you would think would be the norm for a salad. Such as brussel sprouts, a mix of hearty romaine and spinach, apples, quinoa and more. She showed me how to make a simple but yet delicious homemade dressing. The salad looked beautiful and full of color as she displayed it family style. I now see how easy it is to make a healthy homemade dressing and use different ingredients to make a yummy salad meal.
