Cooking Class: Vegetarian Mexican Dishes

Chef Rebecca brings a new dynamic to authentic Mexican cooking in this vegetarian-focused cooking class. Using fresh, wholesome ingredients, she'll help you prepare thoughtful recipes that nourish the body. First, you'll prepare a zesty mango salsa to enjoy with freshly made cassava chips. Then, you'll make tostadas topped with vegetables and a creamy poblano sauce, with Mexican cauliflower rice to enjoy on the side. For dessert, you'll whip up a creamy Mexican-inspired chocolate mousse made with avocado and chili powder.

It was a fun and pleasant experience to be sure. We spent a nice time together and got to help in making some fun dishes. But it was advertised as a class with a world class chef and that is not what it was. I would have expected more learning to be included, whether about the cultures and flavors of the dishes, or the recipes themselves, or cooking skills.
