Cooking Class: Sumptuous Sushi Rolls

In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll learn how to create a variety of delicious appetizers and sushi rolls using traditional Japanese techniques. Using only the freshest ingredients, Chef Chris will demonstrate how to craft blistered shishito peppers with soy sauce, ginger, garlic and brown sugar. You’ll then prepare crispy Vietnamese spring rolls with lo mein noodles, fresh mint, bell peppers and green onions. Next, learn how to make a crab and pickled vegetable roll with sushi rice. Finally, finish the meal by crafting an unagi roll with unagi, avocado, eel sauce, jalapeño and sushi rice.

Such a fun experience, great for beginners. Chef Chris was kind, on time, and guided us through the entire process. We loved trying something new and would recommend this class as a date-night activity.

This was so much fun!! We took our son for his 22nd birthday and he was so impressed. Chef Chris made it so easy for us to create our own version of sushi rolls and stepped in to help everyone!! We will be back for another class. Thank you so much for showing us something new.
