Cooking Class: Gourmet Sandwich Workshop

Learn how to prepare not-so-average sandwiches in this not-so-average cooking class. Under the guidance of a professional chef, you'll learn all the necessary culinary skills and become a master sandwich-maker! You'll put your new skills in action to prepare a chili and basil fried chicken sandwich with Cambodian slaw, as well as an Italian-style Philly cheesesteak with aromatic basil pesto and a classic New Orleans-style shrimp po' boy with a spiced remoulade sauce. 


Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Chili and Basil Fried Chicken Sandwich

With sliced cucumber, pickled carrots, cilantro, chili mayo and Cambodian slaw on a toasted baguette roll


Italian Cheesesteak Sandwich

With herb-marinated skirt steak, red peppers, yellow onions, fresh garlic, balsamic vinegar, fontina cheese and basil pesto on an Italian roll


Shrimp Po' Boy

With jumbo shrimp, remoulade, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and pickled red onions
