In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Carolina, you'll enjoy sophisticated liquor-free libations alongside a unique three-course menu featuring light and fresh detoxifying food. You'll first learn how to stir up three zero-proof drinks, including a zesty chia lemonade with turmeric and apple cider vinegar, a seasonal citrus cider punch and a sweet-n-tart cranberry mocktail. Then, Chef Carolina will teach you how to prepare a detoxifying lunch to go with your light libations. You'll enjoy a healthy raw detox soup, a loaded veggie wrap with sunflower seed spread and a fresh kale salad with broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage and ginger!

I took Chef Carolina’s Italian class with my work team last fall, and knew I wanted to do the Mexican class with friends for my birthday. It did not disappoint! Chef and her family make the experience so fun, everyone wanting to come back another time soon. Her backyard is also beautiful, such a fun place to cook. Thank you, Chef! See you again soon. :)
Though Chef Carolina's holds degrees from the Art Institute and Institute of Natural Food, her life-long love of cooking began at home. She learned the magic of creating authentic Mexican food from her mother and grandmother, which inspired her to create menus using natural and unprocessed whole foods. Chef Carolina now brings more than a decade of experience in the restaurant world to her joyful cooking classes.
