In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Carolina will teach you how to prepare a variety of dishes utilizing ingredients harvested from California, including olives, cheeses, avocado, chicken and more. The class will kick off with an antipasti platter, loaded with domestic and imported olives, spreads and cured vegetables. Then, you'll move on to the cooking and prepare all sorts of light and healthy dishes, including carrot-ginger soup, avocado bruschetta with balsamic reduction, rosemary chicken with kale and quinoa, and more!
You'll enjoy the delicious flavors of California in Chef Carolina's beautifully serene backyard. The evening will end with a festive cookie spread for dessert. While non-alcoholic drinks, including juices, flavored waters and iced tea will be provided, guests are welcome to bring their own wine or beer to enjoy with the class.

I took Chef Carolina’s Italian class with my work team last fall, and knew I wanted to do the Mexican class with friends for my birthday. It did not disappoint! Chef and her family make the experience so fun, everyone wanting to come back another time soon. Her backyard is also beautiful, such a fun place to cook. Thank you, Chef! See you again soon. :)
Though Chef Carolina's holds degrees from the Art Institute and Institute of Natural Food, her life-long love of cooking began at home. She learned the magic of creating authentic Mexican food from her mother and grandmother, which inspired her to create menus using natural and unprocessed whole foods. Chef Carolina now brings more than a decade of experience in the restaurant world to her joyful cooking classes.
